2009: Named JLS Iron Man of the Year… finished
the season with 4,113 all purposeyards which is a AF2 record. He
also totaled 2,069 kick return yards which is a AF2 record as well.
In a playoff game against the Boosier-Shreveport he totaled 241 yards
receiving which is a AF2 playoff record. Captured the franchise record
for receiving yards in a season with the Tulsa Talons accumulating
1,909 yards. Was selected to the First Team All-Arena as a wide receiver.
He had 55 total TDs, 50 receiving, 5 kick returns. He also holds
many of the Talons franchise records which include catches (347),
receiving yards (4,607), KR yards (4,730), all-purpose yards (9,772),
receiving TDs (109), total TDs (122), points scored (740). Played
in 16 games with the Talons including playoffs. Finished his third
season for the Talons. Signed with Grand Rapids before the league
folded.
2008: Selected as a Second Team All- Arena wide receiver. Totaled 1,629 yards and 33 touchdowns on 123 receptions… led the team in all receiving categories in 2008. Had 1,298 yards and a touchdown as a kick returner. Before the season he was in camp wit the Colorado Crush but was released.
2007: MVP of 2007 Arena Cup. Had 7 catches for 143 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns He also accumulated 203 kick return yards and 2 touchdowns on kick returns. Given him 346 all purpose yards in the Arena Cup which is a record along with the return yards. During the regular season… led the team with 46 receptions, 1, 069 yards and 30 receiving touchdowns. Had 1, 363 kick return yards along with 3 return touchdowns.
College:
Holds all the receiving records
for Averett University which includes catches (221), receiving yards
(2,925), receiving touchdowns (31). He had 784 punt return yards on
65 returns and one touchdown for his career. Returned kickoffs only
for one season… had 17 returns for 308 yards with a 18.1 avg. He finished
his career with 4, 267 all-purpose yards. Hughley received many recognitions
was All-State First Team receiver (2006) and was selected to the Third
Team All- Region receiver in 2005. He was a 4 time All-Conference wide
receiver/kick returner.
2006: All-State First Team wide receiver totaled 51 catches for 821 yards and 10 touchdowns. Selected First Team All-Conference wide receiver.
2005: Third Team All-Region selection as a wide receiver along with First

All-Conference honors as a receiver and punt returner.
Finished the season with 57 receptions, 940 yards which is a school
and conference record including 12 receiving touchdowns. As a punt
returner he had 231 yards on 11 returns and a touchdown. His punt return
avg. was the best in the nation that year.
2004: Set the conference record for receptions with 75 catches. Had 752 yards with 6 touchdowns. On punt returns he accumulated 193 yards on 21 returns for a 9.2 yard average. Was selected First Team All-Conference wide receiver and punt returner.
2003: Started all ten games as a freshman… had 38 receptions for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns. 22 returners for 286 yards and a 13 yard avg. as a punt returner.
